Teewhy is a Puerto Rican rapper from New Jersey who has been tapped into music since ’09. Although he has been writing poetry and music since the 5th grade, his brother had truly inspired him to chase his dreams, being a rapper himself. He planted a seed that would soon sculpt the rest of his life.
The rapper is signed to IMG, Infamous music group and has many artists who inspire him to a new level including Drake, Rick Ross, and J Cole. Just like these artists, rapping for Teewhy has opened so many doors to amazing people and amazing opportunities. Times weren’t always this good, as Teewhy explains that like many, he too struggles with hardships including family issues, and being broke, depressed, and lost— all you can hear throughout his music.
“Taking the time to heal from trauma and being alone was one of the worst/ best things that ever happened to me. For anyone going through tough times just know you’re not alone, this does not last forever and as cliché as it sounds the ball is always in your court. Your life can change in a year, and I am living proof of that”. His honest and relatable music has reached the lives of many.
His newest release “No Pressure No Diamonds 2” has dropped late this year and has been off the charts. It’s a well-balanced project that gives the inside scoop on Teewhy’s life; “I’m giving the world the real me”.
