As a kid growing up on the west side of Philly, 3azy Kane was exposed to rap all the time. However, it took him a little while to get into it, and only really fooled around with rapping as a kid. When he got to college, that changed. He linked up with his future labelmate, Hollywood Kane, and together they formed a rap group called Kanegang. Given his exposure to rap as a kid and throughout his life, it was inevitable that 3azy Kane would be involved in the rap game one way or another.
Since he met up with Hollywood Kane in college, 3azy Kane has gone from a college freestyler to a budding superstar in the rap industry. His musical inspirations come from notable and generational artists such as Kendrick Lamar, 50 Cent, and Tupac, all artists with different styles, sounds, and lyrical styles. Kane love show versatile each rapper is and wants to showcase his own versatility in his own music, just like the people who inspire him do.
3azy Kane has secured himself a recording partnership with an indie label called Kammb Mile High Gang or KMG. This recording partnership allows him to use top-of-the-line equipment and have access to a professional work setting while he perfects his craft. He’s dropping an EP at the end of February titled “NEGUS” and says the project is a celebration of Black History Month. Up to this point, 3azy Kane says his biggest musical accomplishment has been getting to freestyle on stage with Wyclef, although it’s a foregone conclusion that he’ll have many bigger accomplishments.
