This time away from music has allowed Josh Scott Music the necessary time to reflect upon his life and regain that burning passion for serving others through his music. In just the two short years that Josh Scott Music has been back on the scene, he has gained nationwide popularity. He currently holds the I Heart Radio / Jack Daniels song of the year, as well as amassing over 2 million streams on Spotify.
Josh Scott Music is an independent artist who creates real country music. He finds the inspiration for his lyrics from his past trials and tribulations, as well as consuming the energy of the legends like Ray Herndon, Travis Tritt, and George Strait. When listening to his music Josh Scott Music wants his fans to take away the message “That it’s never too late to chase your dreams, that your past can’t stop your future and that there are still people out there making real country music.” His dream is to be able to record with Travis Tritt, and Cody Jinx. Their styles would complement each other tremendously creating authentic, and timeless country music.
When Josh Scott Music is not in the studio recording, he is spending time with his beautiful family. He is blessed to be able to support them through his music which opens up ample time for him to spend time with them and create memories. He is currently coaching his daughter’s high school basketball team which brings him great joy.
